Feb 1 - When the Irish State legally takes over the €540 Billion Corrib Gas Field, we will be unpopular for a week.

Then, all the other countries with similar resources will follow suit.

Jan 29 - Ireland's new capital Memphis (or Éirú) will be close to the Hill of Uisneach, which contains the Cat Stone – or Áill na Mireann, which marks the point at which the 4 ancient provinces of Ireland met.

In legend the stone is also the resting place of Éirú, the goddess after whom Ireland is named.

Jan 27 - Rather than wasting another 1,000 years caught up in the 'Inside the Pale, Outside the Pale' colonial baggage and proxy wars of exclusion, the Irish people have voted by a majority of 70% to move the capital to Moate.

The Irish State has legally acquired the Corrib Gas field and will use some of those revenues to build the new capital, which will be named Memphis (or Éirú) .

This is a group of 5 assignment for Irish Civil Engineering students.

You have been asked to construct 2 diagonal motorways and high speed rail lines via Memphis, from Belfast to Bangcork City, and from Donegal to Rosslare.

Chart out your preferred routes using as much existing motorway as possible.

Jan 23 - Clare have 8 Munster titles to aim for in 2010. 4 in the hurling and 4 in the Gaelic football. Our target for 2010 is to qualify for 6 Munster finals, win 4 Munster titles and 2 All-Ireland titles. Well disciplined zonal defence, counter attacking at speed, striking quick diagonal ball to the full forward line. Fire in the belly, and cool heads.

We have to try to lead every game on the scoreboard from start to finish, therefore Clare teams should elect to always play with the breeze in the first half, if we win the toss of the coin. Our hurling teams have a scoring target of 3 - 20, and our footballers have a target of 2 - 15 per game.
